Methley Bridge Boatyard and Chandlery is a family owned and run business established 1989, with moorings and hard standing, on water storage units for boaters, well stocked chandlery, engine servicing and often pre-owned items for sale too.

Situated on the River Calder in Castleford, West Yorkshire, accessible by both boat and road, by road we are on the A639 where the road crosses the River Calder.

We work with both an excellent crane company and boat transport service to meet clients’ needs for most boat movements.

Our chandlery suppliers have worked alongside us for almost 30 years, giving prompt service and excellent product knowledge which we are able to pass on to our clients. 

Although we don’t have an online shop (we prefer the personal service) we are happy to send out items if required.
